To improve the quality of life and living conditions of low income households through the implementation of energy efficient measures and related work, to employ and empower unemployed people through a social enterprise model and respond to community needs
Leitrim Warmer Homes Company Limited by guarantee started operating as a project of Leitrim Development Company. After nine years of operation, a new company was set up called Leitrim Warmer Homes in May 2016. The current address is Laird House,Church street, Drumshanbo, County Leitrim.
Leitrim Warmer Homes in conjunction with the Better Energy Warmer Homes Scheme aims to improve the energy efficiency and warmth of homes owned by people on low incomes. It is operated by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).
We believe that people are stronger together and so we do our best to create a working environment that values every one’s contribution, welcoming, safe and non-judgmental.
Leitrim Warmer Homes have also been providing local employment for the past ten years.
